Arjun from Prosperity visits Southside Residences in Birmingham, where Project Manager Leon provides an update on the work taking place behind the scenes and the programme for the coming months.
Although visible construction has not progressed during the last quarter, the team has continued working through procurement and the remaining pre-commencement planning conditions required before the main construction phase can begin.
Some limited enabling and safety works are planned at the rear of the car park over the coming weeks. These will help secure the site and prepare it for the commencement of the main works.
Construction is currently targeted to begin in January 2027, starting with groundworks and piling. A piling rig is expected to arrive on site to begin drilling and preparing the foundations for the development.
