We’re delighted to share the latest progress on Albion Place. Phase II is now moving forward with real momentum, and it’s an exciting stage as the scheme starts to take shape on site.
The early groundwork took a little longer than planned due to the discovery of an underground cable during pile preparation. This required careful handling before construction could progress. That challenge has now been fully resolved, and the programme has since accelerated, with several key milestones achieved in recent weeks:
- The soakaway and drainage system is largely in place.
- Piling is complete, with footings poured and the ring beam installed.
- Materials have been delivered to site, ready for the superstructure build.
- The footings have been allowed to cure, paving the way for bricklayers to begin building up to damp course.
With these initial groundworks complete, the project is moving into the vertical build stage. Over the course of September, we expect to see significant progress above ground as the development starts to visibly take shape.
