Following another positive meeting with Birmingham City Council, we expect to unlock the planning, finally gaining permission to build over the next quarter.

Upon permission being granted, construction is anticipated to begin Q4 2019.

Detailed design work continues.

Work onsite is moving along well.

Demolition of the building is now complete.

Building foundations are now in place.

Estimated completion Q4 2020.

With regards to Bradford House, Smithfield Place and Smithfield Square, following continued communication with Birmingham City Council over the last quarter, Prosperity have a meeting scheduled for the end of June, where together they will be discussing the overall project in more detail.

Prosperity are also due to meet with Lendlease again over the coming weeks, with a view to gaining a better understanding to how their sites fit within the overall master plan for the area.

Once these key discussions have taken place, Prosperity will be able to provide you with a greater understanding of the overall timescales for the projects.

With the standard statutory planning process taking around 16 weeks, we are unlikely to have much in the way of updates until this next stage has been reached and consent is granted.
